Our Care Team


 Office Manager and Receptionist:

Lori joined  the VetMED team in 2009. Lori has a rescue dog named Raven. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, also loves to read and travel! 

Licensed Veterinary Technician and Volunteer Coordinator:

Josie joined our team in 2015.  Josie graduated from Baker College and been in the field since 2012. In her free time she volunteers at Pet Angel Cat Adoption and Rescue located in Frankenmuth. Josie has two very adorable cats named Monster and Cheetos.

Receptionist and Control Substance Coordinator:

Laura joined the VetMED team in 2015. She been in the veterinary field since 2006 and has rescued two special needs dogs during that time and a cat. She has a beautiful cat named Mr. Big. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her family- her three grown children and five grandchildren. She is also a seamstress, a quilter, a crafter, and an avid reader.  



Veterinary Assistant and Lead Trainer:

Nicole joined our team in 2015. She has been in the veterinary field since 1998. She has a great love of animals ranging from all sizes and breeds, her passion started at a young age. Nicole loves spending her free time with her boys Drew and Blake, and husband, Mike. She has two cats and three dogs: Alley, Panini, Twix, Rolo and Dumpling.


Veterinary Assistant:

Ashley Joined the VetMED Team in 2016. She has been working with animals since 2010, and has always had a passion for pets. She has a sweet kitty named Cherry. In her free time, Ashley loves to volunteer for the children's ministry and spending time with her son.

Veterinary Assistant:

Megan joined our team in April 2018, she has a Bachelors of Science in Biology from U of M and has been in the veterinary field since early 2017. Megan is an aspiring veterinarian and hopes to attend Michigan State Veterinary School in fall of 2019. In her free time Megan enjoys drawing, painting, traveling and spending time with her family, friends, and of course her animals. Her fur-babies include her three dogs: Lola, Zeke, and Gemma who made the photo with mom. 



Veterinary Assistant:

Kara has been in the veterinary field since 2009 and will be attending school shortly to be a licensed veterinarian technician. We are happy to have her back and so are the patients! 



Canine Collaborator:

Skylar when I am not begging for attention, I work hard for my teammates. I enjoyed giving kisses and running through the hospital. When I am not at work, I hang out with my mom Dr. Goode, dad and my siblings.  You will love my team, because they will love your furry babies too.
